Responsibilities
As a Billing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
- Managing and executing the entire billing process in a timely and accurate manner.
- Processing high volumes of invoices and billing documents.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure all billing information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Resolving any billing discrepancies or inaccuracies.
- Maintaining a comprehensive record of all billing activities.
- Assisting with month-end closing procedures.
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients regarding any billing-related inquiries.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of new billing systems and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you need to have the following qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume billing role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle high volumes of data and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
- A customer service-oriented approach and the ability to handle client inquiries professionally.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices would be an advantage.
