Responsibilities
As a BIM/VDC Specialist, your responsibilities will include
- Developing and managing BIM protocols and templates.
- Collaborating with project teams to strategize and implement BIM technology for complex construction projects.
- Using Revit to create detailed 3D models for electrical layouts.
- Ensuring the accuracy and quality of BIM data produced by the project team.
- Training and supporting team members in the use of BIM technology and standards.
- Coordinating and managing the project delivery process with the project team.
- Conducting clash detection and visual walkthroughs using Navisworks.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest BIM and VDC technologies and industry trends.
To be successful in this role, you need to have the following qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in BIM/VDC roles in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Revit for Electrical layouts
- Extensive knowledge of construction processes, methods, and techniques.
- Strong understanding of BIM processes and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
