Looking to add an experienced Building Automation / Controls Technician to our team in the Miami - Fort Lauderdale area. This role is responsible for installing, programing, and servicing digital control systems while maintaining quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Job Details
- Install complete building automation systems (BAS).
- Start up, testing, commissioning and servicing controls projects.
- Train the customer on controls systems as directed
- Modify existing programs and troubleshooting to maintain optimum system operation.
- Verify correct system and control sequence operations.
- Review, modify, and implement programming changes to building automation system to ensure efficient and effective system operations and conformance with standards and guidelines and energy savings.
- Calibrate, repair, and replace building automation system sensing devices to specifications.
- 2 years of building automation (BAS/BMS) or HVAC controls experience
- Willingness to be in the field locally at client sites roughly 80% of the time.
- Familiarity with one or more of the following BAS systems Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, Delta Controls, Distech, Honeywell, or other
- Tridum Niagara experience
- Alerton, Honeywell or Distech
