Job Details

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to join our growing team in the Healthcare industry. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in driving sales and business growth, particularly within the medical devices sector. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary, commission structure, and benefits. You will be joining a collaborative team environment where your contributions will have a direct impact on the success of our business.

Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager, your primary responsibilities will be

  • Lead generation and prospecting Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation strategies.
  • Territory management Develop and implement strategic sales plans for your assigned territory to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Direct sales Conduct outside sales visits, negotiate contracts and close deals to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Medical devices sales Leverage your knowledge and experience in the medical devices sector to effectively sell our products and services to healthcare providers.
  • Enterprise sales Work with large healthcare organizations to identify their needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their objectives.
  • Quota Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
  • Hunter Actively seek out new sales opportunities through networking, social media, and industry events.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the healthcare or medical devices sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry and medical devices sector.
  • Experience in cold calling, prospecting, and lead generation.
  • Ability to manage a territory effectively, with a focus on driving sales and business growth.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a 'hunter' mentality.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to travel as needed for outside sales visits and industry events.
