We are seeking a dynamic and driven Permanent Business Development Manager to join our team in the Scientific industry. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a track record in territory management, account management, manufacturing sales, and B2B sales. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of thermal interface materials and a robust engineering background. This position requires a high level of commitment with up to 75% travel time.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your extensive experience in territory management to identify and develop new business opportunities within your assigned territory.
  • Utilize your account management skills to build and maintain relationships with key accounts, ensuring their long-term success and satisfaction.
  • Draw on your knowledge of thermal interface materials and manufacturing sales to effectively sell our scientific products and solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
  • Work closely with the sales team on lead generation, cold calling, and customer success strategies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the scientific or related industry.
  • Proven sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Demonstrable experience in territory and account management.
  • Proficiency in managing key accounts and building customer relationships.
  • Extensive experience in B2B sales, lead generation, and cold calling.
  • Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office.
  • In-depth knowledge of thermal interface materials.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing sales processes.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Engineering knowledge is a significant plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
