The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and testing various chemical products, conducting research and analysis, and ensuring quality control. Responsibilities
- Conduct complex chemical analysis on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Develop, validate, and implement new chemical testing methods and protocols.
- Work closely with the research and development team to create new products and improve existing ones.
- Perform routine and non-routine tests and analyses using the appropriate technical equipment and instruments.
- Prepare test solutions, compounds, and reagents for conducting tests and advise on appropriate storage.
- Ensure all chemicals, equipment, and laboratories are maintained in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Document all activities, results, and reports on findings in a precise and detailed manner.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff members.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality of work.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related field is required. A Master’s Degree or higher is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Scientific industry.
- Proficiency in compounding, chemistry formulation, analytical chemistry, quality control, research & development, and chemical testing.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and protocols.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using various software and database systems for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
- Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.
