We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. This is a permanent position in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment, offering a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role in our organization. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including financial forecasting, strategic planning, and risk management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, with a particular emphasis on the manufacturing industry, preferably in aerospace.

Responsibilities :

Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance and accounting functions of the organization including budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, long-range forecasting, and insurance activities for the organization.
Develop and implement financial strategies and plans for the company's growth and profitability.
Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors, stakeholders, and executive team.
Evaluate and manage the company's financial risks and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Collaborate with other executive leaders to make high-level decisions regarding company policy and strategy.
Develop performance measures and monitoring systems that support the company's strategic direction.
Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.
Implement operational best practices and oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing cost-effective benefits.
Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.

Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation is preferred.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success.

Previous experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in aerospace.

Strong knowledge of financial forecasting, strategic planning, risk management, and corporate finance.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present and explain complex financial information to non-financial managers and stakeholders.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships.

Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.

Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations, as well as knowledge of GAAP.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
