We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Engineer to join our innovative team. Responsibilities
As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for
- Developing detailed designs for a wide range of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, and buildings.
- Conducting feasibility studies to assess the economic, environmental, and social impacts of projects.
- Coordinating with project managers, architects, and other professionals to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Preparing reports, designs, and drawings using specialized design and modeling software.
- Supervising the work of technicians, technologists, and other engineers to ensure quality control.
- Applying for planning permission and advice from governmental new build and legal departments.
- Conducting site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.
- Providing technical advice to clients, government agencies, and other professionals.
- Managing the repair, maintenance, and replacement of infrastructure.
- Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.
To be successful in this role, you will need
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proficiency in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and BIM.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Sound understanding of physics and mathematics.
