We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of complex and challenging land development and roadway projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with a focus on grading and site development. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
1. Designing, planning, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure, such as roads, railways, airports, bridges, harbors, dams, irrigation projects, power plants, and water and sewerage systems.
2. Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labor costs.
3. Preparing and implementing project plans and designs in accordance with established standards and regulations.
4. Using design software to plan and design transportation systems, hydraulic systems, and structures in line with industry and government standards.
5. Performing complex analysis of collected data and metrics.
6. Managing and directing staff members and the construction, operations, or maintenance activities at project site.
7. Directing or participating in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction.
8. Presenting their findings to the public on topics such as bid proposals, environmental impact statements, or descriptions of projects.
9. Starting from conceptual stage to the final design and implementation, ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Proficient in design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D.
4. Experience with land development, roadway, grading, and site development.
5. Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification.
6. Strong project management and supervision skills.
7. In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
8. Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software.
9. Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
10. Ability to work with multiple discipline projects and proven ability to manage and complete projects to the highest standard.
11. Excellent problem-solving abilities.
