Responsibilities
- Represent clients in legal proceedings related to employment law, workers' compensation, and defense.
- Draft and review legal documents, such as pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents related to employment law.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.
- Develop and implement effective legal strategies to resolve disputes and achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in disputes related to employment law and workers' compensation.
- Stay updated with the latest changes and developments in employment law and workers' compensation.
- Work collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the highest level of client service.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and depositions as required.
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- A minimum of 1 years of experience in employment law, workers' compensation, and defense.
- Proven track record of successfully representing clients in legal proceedings related to employment law and workers' compensation.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong research and report writing skills.
- Proficient in using legal research software and other related software.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- High level of professional ethics and integrity.
