Are you ready to take your legal career to the next level? Our premier law firm is seeking a talented and experienced Permanent Civil Litigation Defense Attorney to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile cases, providing exceptional legal services to our esteemed clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, primarily focusing on injury and liability. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the legal field, with a strong emphasis on litigation, injury, and liability.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Civil Litigation Defense Attorney, your duties will include but not be limited to

• Managing all aspects of civil litigation cases from inception through to resolution.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, and appellate documents, and filing them with the court.
• Performing legal research and analysis, and applying this knowledge to the development of case strategies.
• Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to resolve matters favorably and efficiently.
• Representing clients in court, presenting evidence, and making compelling arguments.
• Collaborating with legal support staff to ensure all case materials and information are up-to-date and organized.
• Maintaining professionalism and a high level of customer service for clients, demonstrating empathy and understanding for their situation.
• Keeping abreast of legal developments and changes in law which could impact current cases.
• Ensuring compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for the role of Permanent Civil Litigation Defense Attorney, candidates must possess the following

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a practicing attorney, with a strong focus on civil litigation, injury, and liability.
• Admission to the State Bar and in good standing.
• Proven experience in managing a diverse caseload.
• Exceptional litigation skills, with proven experience in trial preparation and courtroom representation.
• Proficient in legal research and writing.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to resolve matters favorably and efficiently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to work independently, managing a heavy workload and meeting tight deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
