Our prestigious law firm is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated Senior Associate Attorney specializing in class actions and data privacy. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented attorney who is passionate about data privacy and class action litigation. The successful candidate will be part of a team that handles complex and high-profile litigation, with a focus on data privacy laws, including BIPA. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge issues in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities :
As a Permanent Senior Associate Attorney, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to :
1. Handling all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial.
2. Providing advice and counsel to clients regarding data privacy laws, including BIPA, and related regulations.
3. Conducting legal research and analysis on various legal issues related to data privacy and class action litigation.
4. Managing class action litigation cases and ensuring they are handled efficiently and effectively.
5. Representing clients in court and in negotiations with opposing parties.
6. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
7. Keeping abreast of the latest developments in data privacy laws and regulations and incorporating this knowledge into your legal practice.
8. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing them with regular updates on case progress and legal advice as needed.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Senior Associate Attorney position must possess the following qualifications :
1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar.
3. A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in data privacy and class action litigation, with a strong understanding of BIPA.
4. Proven track record of successfully managing class action litigation cases from inception to resolution.
5. Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
6. Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and other attorneys.
7. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
8. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
