Responsibilities
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for the following
- Operating and maintaining CNC machines, ensuring they are in good working order and calibrated correctly.
- Programming CNC machines using G&M programming to create detailed and precise parts.
- Using Mastercam software to design and produce machine parts and tools.
- Collaborating with the R&D Manufacturing team to develop and implement new manufacturing processes.
- Inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Troubleshooting machine malfunctions and carrying out necessary repairs.
- Adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Continually improving processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, preferably in the Engineering industry.
- Proficiency in Mastercam, CNC, R&D Manufacturing, and G&M programming.
- A strong understanding of CNC machine setup and operation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions.
- High attention to detail and precision, ensuring the production of high-quality parts.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
- Relevant certification or training in CNC machining will be a plus.
