Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam for multi-axis machining centers and Wire EDM.
- Use CAD/CAM software to design and implement new manufacturing processes.
- Perform complex precision measurements using micrometers, CMM, and other precision measurement tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications.
- Maintain and enhance quality control processes, ensuring products meet specified standards and tolerances.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize product design and manufacturing processes.
- Continually evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce cost.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols in all manufacturing processes.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Programmer in the manufacturing industry.
- Extensive experience with CAD/CAM software, particularly Mastercam.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as micrometers and CMM.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and blueprint reading.
- Expert understanding of GD&T principles and applications.
- Experience with multi-axis machining centers and Wire EDM.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of metalworking processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
