As a CNC Programmer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining CNC programs for our state-of-the-art manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs using CAD software, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry. You will work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure our manufacturing processes are streamlined, efficient, and deliver the highest quality products.
Responsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and maintain CNC programs using CAD software for various types of CNC equipment.
2. Collaborate with engineers and machinists to optimize programs and improve manufacturing processes.
3. Perform regular tests and inspections on CNC machines to prevent malfunctions and ensure optimal performance.
4. Read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics to accurately program CNC machines.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming and machine operation.
6. Train and guide machine operators on the correct use of CNC programs and equipment.
7. Keep abreast of latest advancements in CNC programming and manufacturing technology.
8. Provide technical support and expertise to the production team.
9. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
10. Work with ABB Robotics systems, ensuring smooth integration and operation within the manufacturing process.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in CNC programming in a manufacturing environment.
3. Proficient in CAD software and CNC machine operation.
4. Solid understanding of ABB Robotics systems.
5. Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Strong ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
7. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations in a manufacturing setting.
10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
11. Willingness to keep up with the latest advancements in CNC programming and manufacturing technology.
