Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our thriving team. This role will provide you with an exciting opportunity to oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial construction projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and client relations. This position requires a strong leader who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously and has a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in delivering high-quality commercial construction projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project life cycles from inception to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to determine project specifications.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
• Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing safety codes.
• Foster relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Resolve any project-related issues or disputes promptly and professionally.
• Prepare and present regular project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
• Conduct risk management to minimize project risks.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project).
• Demonstrated knowledge of building processes and construction law.
• Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and dispute resolution skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and project resources.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is a plus.
