Responsibilities
As a Permanent Commercial Lines Account Manager, your duties will include
- Managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, ensuring all insurance needs are effectively met.
- Analyzing policies and identifying any potential risks or gaps in coverage.
- Providing exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and carriers.
- Collaborating with sales team to secure, retain, and grow accounts.
- Developing and implementing risk management strategies for clients.
- Handling policy changes, renewals, and new business submissions.
- Using problem-solving skills to address client concerns and find the best insurance solutions.
- Coordinating and managing projects as needed.
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Commercial Lines Account Manager position will have the following qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lines account management.
- Proficiency in customer service, risk management, policy analysis, problem-solving, client relations, and project management.
- A current Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and risk management strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex insurance policies.
- Ability to multitask and manage projects effectively.
- Proficiency in using various insurance software systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or related field is preferred.
