We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to join our thriving legal team. The role involves working on a broad range of commercial litigation matters, including complex commercial disputes, real estate matters, and malpractice cases. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on high-profile cases, providing legal advice and representation to a diverse client base. This is an onsite position that requires a high degree of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal representation in commercial litigation matters including, but not limited to, business disputes, real estate litigation, and malpractice cases.
- Draft and review various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
- Conduct thorough case analysis and develop effective litigation strategies.
- Participate in all aspects of trial preparation and execution, including witness preparation, depositions, and courtroom advocacy.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.
- Stay abreast of current laws, recent case law, and industry trends in commercial litigation to provide the most effective counsel and representation.
- Participate in business development activities to build and maintain client relationships.
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a focus on business disputes, real estate litigation, and/or malpractice cases.
- Admitted to practice law in Florida
- Demonstrated experience in civil litigation, including trial experience.
- Proficient in legal research and writing.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
