We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our Commercial Litigation section. In this role, you will provide comprehensive litigation and trial support for complex commercial cases, including patent infringement matters. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys in managing all aspects of complex commercial litigation, including case organization, document review, and trial preparation.
- Assist in drafting and preparing legal documents, such as pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
- Conduct legal and factual research to support case development.
- Manage and organize electronic and physical case files, ensuring timely filing and compliance with court deadlines.
- Coordinate and oversee discovery processes, including e-discovery, document collection, and production.
- Prepare trial exhibits, witness files, and other trial materials, and provide on-site support during trial proceedings.
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, preferably in commercial litigation and patent infringement cases.
- Strong understanding of federal and state court rules and procedures.
- Proficiency with e-discovery tools and litigation support software.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms.
