We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Component Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. Our ideal candidate will be a versatile and innovative engineer, with a strong background in Defense Manufacturing, CAD, Schematic capture, and Product Design. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a team of seasoned professionals and contribute to the design and development of advanced manufacturing components.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Component Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include

• Designing and developing components for manufacturing, using CAD and schematic capture.
• Working closely with the defense manufacturing team to ensure all components meet strict industry and company standards.
• Collaborating with the Product Design team to integrate components into final product designs.
• Conducting rigorous dicing, probing, and testing of components to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
• Continually researching and implementing new techniques and technologies to improve component design and manufacturing processes.
• Providing technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant industry regulations and standards.
  
  

Qualifications

The successful candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications

• A minimum of a 4-year degree in Engineering, preferably with a focus on Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in component engineering within the manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in Defense Manufacturing, CAD, Schematic capture, and Product Design.
• Proven experience with dicing, probing, and testing processes.
• Strong technical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
