Are you an experienced Construction Estimator with a knack for accuracy and a passion for problem-solving? If you are, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Permanent Construction Estimator. This position offers the chance to work on a variety of exciting projects in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the planning, coordination, and budgeting of our construction projects, playing a significant role in their successful completion.

Responsibilities
As a Permanent Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including
- Preparing and submitting competitive bid proposals, ensuring all aspects of the project are accounted for.
- Conducting site assessments to gather necessary data for accurate project cost estimation.
- Developing comprehensive project budgets that consider all potential costs, from labor and materials to equipment and permits.
- Presenting estimates and project budgets to clients, management, and project teams, explaining all details clearly and effectively.
- Calculating and adjusting estimates as needed throughout the project lifecycle, considering changes in labor costs, material prices, and other factors.
- Using analytical skills to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and areas of risk.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure project plans are feasible and within budget.
- Utilizing problem-solving skills to address any issues or challenges that arise during the estimation process.
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Construction Estimator position will have the following qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction estimation.
- Proven experience in preparing and submitting successful bids.
- Demonstrated expertise in project costing and budgeting.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and solve problems effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in using estimation software and other industry-related tools.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
