This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to oversee all aspects of various construction projects from planning to implementation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering project budgets, timelines, and work plans, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in project management, with strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, as well as excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all aspects of various construction projects
2. Develop and deliver project budgets, timelines, and work plans
3. Work closely with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project adherence to budgets and timelines
4. Handle contract management duties, including negotiation, compliance, and dispute resolution
5. Provide leadership and direction to the project team, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities
6. Apply strategic planning to forecast, plan, and coordinate project activities
7. Perform risk management to minimize project risks
8. Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
9. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
10. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
2. Proven working experience of 3 years as a Project Manager in the Construction industry
3. Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
4. Proficient in project management software, MS Office, and estimation software
5. Excellent knowledge of budgeting, construction estimating, and fiscal management
6. Proven ability to solve problems creatively, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
7. Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to manage a team effectively
8. Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills
9. PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage
10. Ability to travel as needed.
