Job Details

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of commercial projects, ensuring that all phases are executed to the highest standards.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans, including timelines, milestones, and budget forecasts, and communicate these to all relevant parties.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring that all financial aspects are controlled and monitored to prevent overruns.
• Coordinate and oversee the work of project teams, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Conduct project post-mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an asset.
• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in project management experience- We build Commercial, Education, Multi-Family, Hospitality, Public Works, and Industrial projects
• Demonstrated experience in managing project budgets, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and work effectively with diverse teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and achieving results.
• Proficiency in project management software tools.
• PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
