Job Details : Are you a seasoned construction professional with a knack for leadership and apassion for excellence? We are seeking an experienced and dedicated PermanentForeman to join our dynamic team. This role will be instrumental in overseeingour construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that work iscarried out to the highest standards of quality and safety. The successfulcandidate will have extensive experience in handling heavy equipment such asrolls, pumps, crushers, conveyor lines, and water systems. The role alsorequires a deep understanding of materials such as aggregate, rock, and sand,as well as expertise in the maintenance of these materials through processeslike washing. Responsibilities : As a Permanent Foreman, your responsibilities will include, but are notlimited to : 1. Supervising and coordinating the activities of construction workers andensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time. 2. Managing the operation of heavy equipment such as rolls, pumps, crushers,and conveyor lines. 3. Overseeing the maintenance and effective utilization of materials such asaggregate, rock, and sand. 4. Ensuring that all work complies with building codes and safetyregulations. 5. Implementing rigorous risk management strategies to mitigate potentialhazards on the construction site. 6. Providing effective team leadership and fostering a positive workenvironment that encourages collaboration and high performance. 7. Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensureoptimal performance and safety. 8. Communicating regularly with project managers, engineers, and otherstakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any issues orconcerns. Qualifications : The ideal candidate for the Permanent Foreman position should possess thefollowing qualifications : 1. At least 5 years of experience in a foreman role within the constructionindustry. 2. Extensive knowledge and experience in operating and maintaining heavyequipment such as rolls, pumps, crushers, and conveyor lines. 3. Proficiency in handling and maintaining materials such as aggregate, rock,and sand. 4. Strong understanding of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHguidelines. 5. Excellent leadership and team management skills. 6. Proven experience in risk management and safety compliance. 7. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail. 8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 9. Certification in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter, etc.) or adegree in construction management will be an added advantage. 10. Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
