Key Responsibilities
Perform as VSM (Value Stream Mapping) and obtain and maintain Six Sigma Black Belt status, leading and completing multiple projects annually.
Identify internal/external Continuous Improvement Objectives, develop strategies/action plans to accomplish those objectives, and assume all reporting responsibilities.
Define CI related training needs, develop and coordinate appropriate training classes.
Plan, coordinate, lead, and monitor VSM events, Kaizen events, Six Sigma events, and other Lean Manufacturing programs and philosophies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the plant and identify and spread best practices.
Perform Manufacturing Engineering tasks as assigned.
Ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
Qualifications
BS Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent training and experience.
5 years of related CI experience in Manufacturing/machining operations.
Six SIgma Belt
