Summary
- Contracts Manager is responsible for administration of all aspects of Contract Management to assure legal, regulatory, and ethical compliance while assuring the interests of the Company are maintained.
- Within the aerospace and defense environment, the Contract Manager will also be responsible for export compliance, negotiation, and document review while leveraging partnered legal resources.
- This position will also assist in the preparation of proposals for new business opportunities.
- Previous experience in Aerospace and Defense contract area (4-6 years preferred).
- At least 3 years of experience managing federal government contracts required.
- Detailed working knowledge of FAR & DFARS.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required.
- Detailed working knowledge of U.S. Government aerospace and defense industry contractual and purchasing procedures.
- Experience with ITAR and U.S. Government export control procedures.
- Previous experience in negotiating contract terms.
