Responsibilities

As a Permanent Controller, you will

• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, working closely with various department heads to understand and manage their financial needs and goals.
• Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
• Analyze financial data and develop actionable insights to drive business performance and growth.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to set financial goals, objectives, and budgets.
• Develop and implement financial risk management strategies.
• Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred. Professional certification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
• Proficient knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Strong experience in preparing and presenting financial reports, statements, and projections.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to direct and oversee the work of a team.
• Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills, with the ability to make sound business decisions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
• Experience with financial software and systems, with a high level of proficiency in MS Excel.
