Job Description:
As a Controls Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating control systems across our production lines. You will focus on merging diverse control systems, enhancing interoperability, and ensuring efficient communication between equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Integration: Lead the integration of control systems for new and existing production machinery.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure compatibility and integration of diverse control systems and equipment.
- PLC and HMI Integration: Coordinate PLC programming and HMI integration efforts to create unified control interfaces for streamlined operations.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of integrated control systems.
- Optimization and Troubleshooting: Identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency improvements, and resolve any integration-related issues.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in controls integration or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in PLC programming and HMI integration.
- A strong understanding of control system architectures, networking protocols, and industrial communication standards.
