Our firm is seeking a highly motivated Corporate Attorney to join our growing legal team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, with a particular focus on contract drafting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with our executive team and diverse client base, providing legal advice on a wide range of corporate matters.

Responsibilities

As a Corporate Attorney, you will be responsible for

• Providing legal advice and guidance on various corporate matters including corporate governance, compliance issues, and risk management.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of contracts and agreements to protect the client’s legal and business interests.
• Advising on the interpretation, enforcement, and modification of contracts.
• Representing the company in legal proceedings, ensuring the company’s rights are protected.
• Collaborating with other departments to develop effective strategies for managing legal risks.
• Keeping abreast of changes in laws that affect the company’s operations and advising management accordingly.
• Conducting legal research and analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Providing training to company staff on legal matters, promoting legal and regulatory compliance.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following

• A Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate law- experience in public/private partnerships or government transactions strongly preferred.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound legal judgments.
• A high degree of professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
