Responsibilities
- Maintain and analyze standard cost models
- Monitor production costs across materials, labor, and overhead to ensure financial accuracy
- Investigate cost variances and recommend data-driven process adjustments
- Conduct scenario modeling and cost forecasting for budget and pricing strategy support
- Oversee inventory valuation for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
- Perform physical inventory audits and reconciliation processes
- Collaborate with supply chain and production to reduce inventory carrying costs
- Generate reports on cost trends, manufacturing performance, and variance analysis
- Support month-end close processes and cost data validation
- Partner with engineers and operations to uncover cost-saving opportunities
- Implement process improvements in cost reporting and controls
- Assist with internal/external audits and ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 years’ cost accounting experience in a manufacturing setting
- Expertise in inventory valuation, standard costing, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and modeling
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS principles
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- SAP
- CPA or CMA certification
