Job Description
As a Cost Accounting Leader, you will oversee all aspects of our manufacturing accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards. This includes conducting monthly closings, preparing and posting journal entries, and reconciling general ledger accounts.
You will also develop and implement effective standard cost systems, prepare detailed financial reports, and provide insightful analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
Additionally, you will work closely with the production and procurement teams to analyze manufacturing costs, identify variances, and suggest cost-saving measures.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with budget preparation and financial forecasting, staying current with industry trends, and participating in internal and external audits.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced knowledge of Excel.
