Responsibilities
- Represent clients in criminal cases, including felony and misdemeanor offenses, from initial arrest through trial and appeal.
- Review and analyze case facts, evidence, and relevant legal documents to develop effective defense strategies.
- Represent clients during court hearings, motions, trials, and post-conviction proceedings.
- Negotiate with prosecutors, judges, and other legal parties to reach favorable settlements when applicable.
- Keep clients informed about case progress, legal options, and potential outcomes.
- 3 years of experience as a criminal defense attorney.
- Admission to practice in Nevada.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Strong understanding of criminal law, evidence, and criminal procedures.
- Proven experience in courtroom litigation and negotiating settlements.
