Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Architect to join our Accounting and Finance team. This role is an incredible opportunity for an individual with a strong background in data architecture and a passion for leveraging technology to drive business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, creating, deploying and managing our organization's data architecture. You will play a critical role in planning and implementing systems that collect, process, store, and analyze large sets of data. This role requires a deep understanding of data management, the ability to see the big picture, and the capacity to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic data architectures for core application areas.
• Implement data strategies and develop physical data models.
• Improve data foundational procedures, guidelines, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with the IT department, data scientists, and business stakeholders to identify future needs and requirements.
• Develop data processing systems for data modeling, mining, and production.
• Design and build data-flows using Python, AWS, S3, Glue, Lambda services.
• Implement AI/ML algorithms to enhance data processing and analysis.
• Use Terraform to build, change, and version infrastructure.
• Ensure all solutions are aligned with the enterprise architecture and governance standards.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and establish efficient solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest technology trends related to data architecture.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a data architecture role.
• Proven expertise in Python, AWS, S3, Glue, Lambda, AI/ML, and Terraform.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing data architectures.
• Proven ability to work with large data sets, experience in data modeling, data mining, and data warehousing.
• Strong understanding of databases and data management fundamentals.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the Accounting and Finance industry is a plus.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver results on time.
