Mid-Level Electrician – Mission Critical Data Centers - Pryor, OK
Seeking a Mid-Level Electrician with direct experience supporting mission-critical data center infrastructure. This position involves the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex electrical systems to ensure 24/7 uptime in high-availability environments.

Mid-Level Electrician – Mission Critical Data Centers - Pryor, OK
Seeking a Mid-Level Electrician with direct experience supporting mission-critical data center infrastructure. This position involves the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex electrical systems to ensure 24/7 uptime in high-availability environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair low and medium voltage systems (up to 15kV), including switchgear, panelboards, busway systems, transformers, and power distribution units (PDUs).
- Support operation and maintenance of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), battery banks, and Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS).
- Conduct infrared thermographic inspections, insulation resistance testing, and breaker coordination studies.
- Execute lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and maintain electrical safety protocols per NFPA 70E.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance as per equipment manufacturer specifications and site standards.
- Read and interpret complex electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and MOP/SOP documentation.
- Assist in commissioning and integration of new electrical systems in live data center environments.
- Utilize digital multimeters, megohmmeters, circuit tracers, and power quality analyzers to perform diagnostics.
- Maintain logs, reports, and documentation using CMMS and digital maintenance tracking systems.
- 4 years of experience as a commercial or industrial electrician.
- 2 years working directly in mission-critical environments (e.g., data centers, hospitals, financial institutions).
- Valid State of Oklahoma Electrical Journeyman License (or ability to obtain).
- Thorough understanding of NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CMMS platforms, and SCADA/BMS interfaces is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure in time-sensitive scenarios and respond to electrical emergencies on-call.
- Certifications in OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR, or BICSI.
- Familiarity with power quality monitoring, generator paralleling gear, and building automation systems.
