Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of workers' compensation defense matters from inception through resolution.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Represent clients at hearings, depositions, and mediations.
- Effectively communicate with clients, adjusters, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
- Develop case strategies and provide timely updates to clients.
- Attend court appearances and advocate for clients in administrative hearings and trials.
- Comprehensive knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations.
- Experience in trial and litigation processes.
- Proficiency in legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and client service abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Organizational skills, with a capacity to prioritize multiple tasks.
