Responsibilities
As a Permanent Demand Planning Manager, you will be responsible for
- Developing and executing demand and inventory plans that will enable us to meet sales and service objectives.
- Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
- Using and maintaining the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool.
- Providing input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
- Creating statistical forecasts, gathering and analyzing data to estimate demand for products.
- Leading S&OP meetings, presenting updated forecasts and changes, and guiding the team in understanding the impact on supply plans.
- Driving continuous improvement in demand planning practices to achieve better accuracy and efficiency.
- Managing and communicating risks and opportunities in relation to demand forecast accuracy.
To be considered for this role, you should have
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Demand Planning, preferably in the Manufacturing sector.
- Proven experience in using ERP systems, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of S&OP processes, Inventory Management, and driving supply plans.
- Experience in supporting sales operations and working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are also a must.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry is strongly preferred.
