Our client, a fast-growing leader in the HVAC Industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Project Manager to join their team. This pivotal role will focus primarily on managing multi-family design projects, where you’ll oversee a talented team and drive the successful delivery of engineering solutions.

As an Engineering Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading two employees, utilizing Revit software to develop and design projects, and ensuring that all engineering requirements are met with precision and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineering professional to make a tangible impact within a rapidly expanding organization.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple engineering projects, particularly in multi-family designs.

Supervise and mentor two employees, ensuring successful project execution and team growth.

Use Revit software to create, modify, and optimize engineering designs.

Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.

Maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety throughout all stages of the project.

Qualifications

Strong engineering background, with experience in construction and multi-family projects.

Proficiency in Revit software and other relevant design tools.

Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and inspire a small team.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of two employees, fostering a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and high performance.
  • Utilize Revit software to create detailed multi-family design projects, ensuring all designs meet the clients' needs and adhere to all relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, architects, and contractors, to ensure all project requirements are met and any issues are promptly addressed.
  • Conduct regular project reviews and updates to keep all stakeholders informed about the project's progress.
  • Implement risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks.
  • Ensure all engineering projects comply with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team as needed, fostering their professional development and growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required. A master's degree will be considered an advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on multi-family design projects.
  • Proficiency in using Revit software is essential.
  • Proven experience in managing a team, with excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues promptly.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders and keep them informed about the project's progress.
  • A strong commitment to health and safety, with knowledge of relevant regulations and the ability to ensure compliance.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
