The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in identifying, cultivating, and securing new business opportunities in the hospitality construction sector. This role requires extensive experience in business development, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the company's overall growth objectives in the hospitality construction sector.
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue potential new business opportunities in the hospitality construction market to expand the company's client base and market share.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the hospitality industry, including clients, partners, and industry professionals.
- Collaborate with the internal teams to ensure the company's services meet the needs of the hospitality industry and align with the market trends.
- Lead the negotiation and closing of new business deals, ensuring they meet the company's financial and strategic objectives.
- Provide insightful market feedback and competitive intelligence to the company's leadership team to support strategic decision making.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote the company's services and establish its presence in the hospitality construction market.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA will be considered an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the construction industry, specifically focusing on hospitality construction.
- Demonstrated success in identifying, cultivating, and securing new business opportunities in the hospitality construction market.
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry, including market trends, key players, and customer needs.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other business development tools.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, while maintaining a high level of collaboration with the internal teams.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, partners, and attend industry events.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a results-driven approach to business development.
