We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Director of Finance to lead our financial department. This is a pivotal role within our organization, where you will be responsible for the financial health of our company by managing financial procedures, budgeting, forecasting and risk management. As a Director of Finance, you will also be responsible for crafting financial reports and will work closely with our senior management team to analyze department finances and develop budgets that will keep our financials in check. This position requires a candidate who is fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Director of Finance to lead our financial department. Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
- Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory actions.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.
- Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
- Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company.
- Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
- Develop and manage financial systems/models and lead long-term budgetary planning and cost management.
- Engage with auditors for annual auditing process.
- Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings.
- Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.
- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
- Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. MBA or relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus.
- Proven experience of 5 years in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
- Outstanding analytical and time-management skills.
- Strong leadership qualities and a team player.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP).
- An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulas.
- Experience in dealing with stakeholders and reporting to them.
- Understanding and knowledge of financial reporting, financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
