Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic manufacturing plans aligned with company objectives to enhance production efficiency and maximize profitability.
- Supervise and oversee all aspects of daily manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, sales, and procurement to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
- Evaluate and enhance existing manufacturing processes and workflows for continuous improvement.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing manufacturing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and teamwork.
- Monitor production metrics, prepare regular performance reports, and present to senior management.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure for the manufacturing department.
- Implement and oversee quality control programs to maintain high standards of production and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, manage employee relations, and handle terminations when necessary.
- Stay updated with the latest manufacturing best practices, technologies, and industry trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. An advanced degree or MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior manufacturing management role in the engineering industry.
- Proven experience in performance evaluation and managing terminations.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality control standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
- Strong strategic planning and project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail and precision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in using manufacturing management software and tools.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
