We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Director of Operations to join our team. You will lead, mentor, and develop regional and site managers, ensuring that our operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
As the Permanent Director of Operations, your duties will include
- Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to promote company culture and vision.
- Overseeing all operational activities for the organization, ensuring an environment of efficiency and superior quality control.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing regional and site managers to enhance performance and productivity.
- Recruiting, training, and retaining top talent; fostering a positive environment that encourages teamwork and personal growth.
- Managing and reviewing operational budgets, ensuring resources are used efficiently and effectively.
- Spearheading project management initiatives, coordinating with various departments to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Identifying and addressing problems and opportunities for the company and implementing solutions to improve operations.
- Coordinating with the executive team to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals.
- Implement strategies to promote organizational growth and financial profitability.
The successful candidate for the Permanent Director of Operations will have
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience iIn Commercial Facility Services - Property Management, Janitorial, Parking garages, or similar role.
- Proven experience in operations management, with a strong understanding of operational procedures and policies.
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting, training, and retaining top talent.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a winning team.
- Solid knowledge of performance evaluation metrics, KPIs, and budget management.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of managing large, complex projects.
- Strong budget management skills, with experience in financial planning and strategy.
- Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to negotiate and interface with senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
