We are looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate project cost assessments and supporting the successful execution of electrical construction projects. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for the electrical contracting industry, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Develop precise cost estimates for electrical construction projects based on blueprints and project specifications.
- Analyze project documents to identify risks, cost-saving opportunities, and scope requirements.
- Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate pricing, material takeoffs, and resource allocation.
- Conduct site visits as needed to assess project conditions and gather essential data for estimating.
- Utilize estimating software such as Accubid to create detailed estimates and reports.
- Monitor project budgets throughout the construction process to maintain cost control and efficiency.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, codes, and regulations affecting electrical contracting.
- Proven experience in electrical construction estimating.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and NEC standards.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate cost assessments.
- Proficiency in project management principles related to construction.
- Experience with estimating software such as Bluebeam (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
