Position Title Electrician - Industrial & Automation (preferred knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Millwright Electrician with expertise in industrial automation to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Electrical Engineer to support operations by ensuring the reliability and functionality of electrical systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Monitor and address electrical maintenance needs to support smooth operations.
- Install, repair, test, and troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment and associated controls, including Allen Bradley PLCs, automation controllers,
- Rotate shifts periodically and assist with troubleshooting electrical welding methods, handling high voltage (3 phase, 480V) as required.
- Conduct periodic inspections, tests, and maintenance procedures on equipment to maintain optimal performance.
- Read and interpret schematics and electrical terminations to diagnose root problems effectively.
- Install and connect power supply wiring and conduit for new equipment installations.
- Diagnose malfunctions in equipment, making repairs or replacements as necessary.
- Communicate any electrical issues to engineering and plant management to facilitate timely resolutions.
