Responsibilities
As a Permanent ED RN, your primary duties will include
- Providing immediate and effective medical care to patients in emergency situations, including initial assessment, resuscitation, and stabilization.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care.
- Implementing and evaluating individual patient care plans and modifying them as necessary.
- Performing emergency medical procedures, such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and other condition stabilizing interventions.
- Administering medications, wound care, and other personalized interventions as ordered by medical providers.
- Documenting all patient information accurately and completely.
- Providing emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.
- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures, including safety protocols and standards of care.
To be considered for the Permanent ED RN position, you will need the following
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of 1 yr of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency department or critical care setting.
- Certifications required BLS, PALS, ACLS, and MINC (preferred)
- Strong Patient Care skills
- Exceptional clinical skills, with a strong understanding of emergency care best practices and protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and make critical decisions quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Commitment to providing the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
