Responsibilities
As an Estate Planning Associate Attorney, your responsibilities will include
- Providing comprehensive estate planning services to high net worth clients, including drafting and implementing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
- Advising clients on wealth preservation strategies, including asset protection, tax planning, and probate avoidance.
- Staying abreast of the latest developments in estate planning, tax law, and related legal fields to provide the most current and effective advice to clients.
- Collaborating closely with other team members to ensure a seamless and comprehensive service to clients.
- Assisting clients with the probate process, including estate administration and litigation.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent communication and customer service.
The ideal candidate for the Estate Planning Associate Attorney position should possess the following qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning, with a focus on high net worth clients.
- Proficiency in drafting estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, etc.
- Deep understanding of tax law, asset protection, and wealth preservation strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide creative and effective solutions to complex legal issues.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating a commitment to shared success.
- A high level of professional ethics and a commitment to client confidentiality.
- Active membership in the state bar.
