We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in these areas and a proven track record of providing high-quality legal advice to clients. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and support to clients on all aspects of estate planning, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and probate administration.
- Handle complex banking and foreclosure cases, providing strategic and practical legal advice to clients.
- Advise clients on issues related to natural resource and water law, utilizing your expertise to navigate complex legal landscapes.
- Manage real property transactions and disputes, from initial advice through to resolution.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring their estate planning needs are met.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and legal precedents that may impact our clients and their estate planning.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive service is provided to clients.
- Participate in business development activities, representing the firm at industry events and networking with potential clients.
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning, with proven expertise in banking, foreclosure, natural resource, water law, and real property.
- Admission to the state bar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical and strategic legal advice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Proven ability to manage a large and diverse caseload, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
- Experience in business development activities would be highly regarded.
