The ideal candidate will have 7 years of experience and a proven track record of delivering accurate estimates for complex projects. As an Estimator, you’ll play a lead role in successfully bidding our water and wastewater projects, working closely with a collaborative and supportive team. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor and guide less experienced team members, fostering their growth and contributing to a strong, cohesive team.

As an Estimator, you’ll play a lead role in successfully bidding our water and wastewater projects, working closely with a collaborative and supportive team. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor and guide less experienced team members, fostering their growth and contributing to a strong, cohesive team.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive bids for water infrastructure projects; including water and wastewater treatment plants with the scope of excavation, backfill, yard piping, process and mechanical piping, and concrete.
- Lead pricing strategies, perform value engineering, review contracts, and conduct risk analysis.
- Build, develop, and maintain relationships with vendors.
- Collaborate with operational teams to align estimates with project goals and timelines.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to junior team members, sharing knowledge and fostering skill development.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in heavy civil construction/ with an emphasis in water projects or structural concrete.
- Proficient in estimating software (InEight / Hard Dollar is a huge plus) or B2W, Planswift, HCSS Heavy Bid and Smartbid
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods for self-performed work -structural concrete, process piping systems, water/wastewater process treatment equipment, buried wet utilities, earthworks and structure excavation/backfill and chemical treatment systems, etc.
- College degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
- Knowledge of JOC, design-build, CM at Risk, and best-value processes.
