Job Description
- Provide onsite installation of complex equipment and follow testing procedures to ensure proper working order.
- Conduct on-site preventative maintenance and provide necessary repairs to keep equipment running smoothly.
- Analyze and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on equipment in the field.
- Communicate with clients about the nature of the problem and the repairs carried out.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through timely resolution of issues and effective communication.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing high-tech equipment in the field.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Willingness to travel 80%.
- Minimum 2 years of mechanical & electrical troubleshooting, or electronics degree, or military experience.
- Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and manuals.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding situations.
