Responsibilities
- Install and startup new equipment at customer sites
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment at customer sites
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Provide technical support to customers
- Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to solve complex problems
- Work with customers to identify opportunities for equipment upgrades and improvements
- Document all service activities in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain a safe work environment at all times
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical troubleshooting, mechanical troubleshooting, electro-mechanical assembly, installation and startup of new equipment, industrial robots/automation, and Allen Bradley PLCs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and passport
