Responsibilities :
Financial Reporting & Controls :
Prepare monthly financial statements (P&Ls, balance sheets, cash flow statements)Maintain and improve financial controls (tax compliance, banking, benefits)Develop and monitor financial performance metricsOperations Reporting :Provide weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc operations reportingBudgeting :
Lead the annual and quarterly budgeting processManage accruals and prepaid entries for G&A departmentsSupport department heads with financial analysis and queriesAudit & Compliance :
Oversee the annual financial audit process, including reconciliations and workpapersEnsure timely provision of documents to auditors and respond to requestsEnsure regulatory compliance and implement fraud prevention proceduresPrepare tax workpapers and coordinate with tax preparersRisk Management :
Manage the company’s risk program, including workers’ comp (WC), general liability (GL), and insuranceDepartment Leadership :
Supervise day-to-day operations of :PayrollRisk ManagementTreasuryAccountingAccounts PayableCommunication :
Collaborate with the President and CEO on financial decision-makingProvide regular financial updates to the Senior Leadership TeamRequirements :
Bachelor’s degree in AccountingExperience in the restaurant industry preferredStrong knowledge of GAAP accountingCPA preferredAdvanced Excel skillsExperience with lease accounting, payroll compliance, and full-cycle accountingAbility to manage complex financial reporting and controlsInterested in hearing more?
